I've missed writing

Funny thing, I love writing, and here I get so many readers, not so many comments here, but quite a few on FB or in emails, so I know people are reading. I've been meaning to sit down (since the cruise) and get so much out. I've been extremely busy with work, editing the wedding photos, I have a blanket to finish for Mason's friend's son, and several written hypnosis sessions that need to be recorded. But for that, I have to finish the front room for recording and to do the shows, it is coming along nicely, however, I have to have time in the day to finish it.

That is why, this weekend is going to be so nice, I can get some things done. I will be home, laundry is caught up, so I get to do the things I need to do. There is no wonder why I am NEVER (and I mean that sincerely) bored, I'm always busy, I'm always doing, creating, producing, making, to the point of where there isn't enough 24 hours in a day. I like my sleep, and in order to keep healthy, I need to sleep at least 7/8 hours (when I can) so cutting into my sleep time isn't an option, cutting into my work day also isn't an option, I make good money for working 40 hours a week, so, my fun time is usually incorporates into my "side jobs", which, so many people can't say happens.

Night before last, I dreamed that I redecorated my kitchen. Funny thing, it wasn't all fancy schmancy like some dream their kitchen to be.  Mine was very dark wood (loved) and was very homey in feel. There were baskets hanging, handmade curtains for cabinet doors, and to cover the dishwasher.

And there were hanging pots, and hooks, and shelves, lots and lots of bottles, and I changed the door ont he pantry to a screen door that I decorated.

Then, over the kitchen sink, there was a large tree limb, with hanging plants and hand crafted decorations.

I had hooks and jar lids hanging under the cabinets holding goodies of decoration and functional kitchen utensils for display.

If I do any of it..I will document it! Until then.. I'll keep a journal of all I want to do. I've lived in this house for 16 years.. it's time to do it the way *I* want to..I deserve that. I also would like to make all of the changes myself and do it for under $100, that is my goal. I believe that I can, challenge accepted!

Have any ideas or suggestions? I'd LOVE to hear about them!

Sometimes It's Just Easier..

To get it out, regardless if the responsible party hears it or not, and move on. So here is my rant. Then, I will delete and move on.

"Sadly, you will NEVER have the sense of urgency that is required for desired professionalism. A display in lack of common courtesy and drama filled ethics is rather boring and inept on your part. Your allegiances have been proclaimed, establishing that your morals and values are full of flaws and frankly, you will never “get it”.  Your life will always serve as a reminder that your choices have led you to your poor reactions and actions."

I love this!!!

Dear Haters,

I want to take a moment to honestly and sincerely thank you for all your efforts. See you have played a major role in my new found determination to chew through obstacles, devour hesitation and annihilate fear. I appreciate all of your stares, giggles and trash talking because it has shown me what and who is real. And what real is that you have one of two choices in this life, you can either be a "doer" or you can be the other one who just talks about being a "doer" but never really applies any more effort than trash talking the ones who are actually "doing".

For any of you wondering which one of these you are I will break it down for you so you can all understand. If you have enough time to critique and trash talk others, well it's pretty obvious what you are. The "real" successful people don't have the time to waste on foolish and senseless behavior; they're too busy owning you!

(From my friend Ric that I went to High School with!)

Happiness is a $10 pair of Pants

I know that sounds odd, but, in reality, they started out as $110 jeans. They are neutral colored jeans; they are soft, stretchy pants by Kenneth Cole. Mmm. I realize that they are a little bit bigger than I need.
I realize that I had to wash and dry the tar out of them in order for them to fit, but I can move and breath and bend and dance (as if I danced) comfortably, they thin me out, they give me sexy curves, and they put a bounce in my step. (How is this possible all from a pair of pants?)
Well, thrifting is an art, really it is. Yesterday I was watching an episode of wife swap (normally I refuse to watch reality shows like that because I despise confrontation), it was this episode here: Wife Swap Hippie and Princess
So the prissy woman was SO cruel, and unkind in her words, now mind you, the words sometimes the “hippie” used could be also as unkind but that’s what reality TV consists of. Anyway, the hippies liked their life.

They were proud to go to the thrift store and leave with their goodies only paying $6.41 (how I remember that amount I can’t say). I’m not that tight, I use electricity, I bathe every day, I don’t share the same water, but I do love a good bargain, and, if I look good doing so, all the better I say.

So, these were purchased for the cruise. They should be perfect to stroll through (hopefully) Mendenhall Ice Caves in Juneau, Alaska on May 14th.

Of course I’m wearing them today, you know, to test out the waters. I think I’m going to be very pleased. And that my friends, is how happiness, is derived from a $10 pair of pants.
